It's that time of year again when we are looking for teams or individuals to participate in the Top-Ops competition at the annual conference.  The competition is scheduled from 9:00 - 11:30 am on Thursday September 19, 2013.  We are looking for teams of 1, 2, or 3 people.  Individuals that want to participate may compete by themselves or an effort will be made to combine them with other utility's to make a combined team

The questions will be made up of general knowledge of day to day operations in the water industry. They will include topics such as basic science, maintenance, safety, laboratory, distribution systems, water hydrology and basic math as they pertain to the water industry.  The questions are made to be answered.  We are not here to embarrass or trick anyone.

To encourage and improve participation in this event there will be several incentives offered.

Incentive List:

  •  Winning team gets an expense paid trip to the ACE14 in Boston
  • Raffle prizes for the competitors (Flat screen tv and other prizes)
  • ***NEW THIS YEAR*** A traveling trophy will be awarded to the winning team to keep for the year they win

To sign up for the competition or if you have any questions or interest in this opportunity please contact me atmikerobe1@msn.com  or 414-768-7060.

I personally would like to invite all eligible operators and employees to participate in this contest and I can help you with any issues you may have.

Mike Robe,

Top-Ops Coordinator
