Treatment Operations

Mission Statement

To develop relevant training and seminars for the certified water treatment operators in Wisconsin on topics including: Operations, Maintenance, Best Industry Practices, Implementing New Regulations, and Emerging Technologies. 

2011 Goals

  1. Plan and hold 1 – 2 seminars with at least 1 focused on meeting the needs of operator level personnel
  2. Work with the Education Committee to develop training topics.
  3. Promote interest in the Top Ops competition.
  4. Coordinate with the Annual Conference Committee to select water treatment presentations for the annual conference.

2011 Activities Plan 

  1. Hold 5 committee meetings, two in person and three phone conferences.  
  2. Hold a treatment seminar.
  3. Submit  an article for each issue of the WWA section newsletter.
  4. Work with the annual conference committee to fill the treatment track with timely and exciting topics.
  5. Make sure the Top Ops competition is discussed at any seminars.
