Treatment Operations
Mission Statement
To develop relevant training and seminars for the certified water treatment operators in Wisconsin on topics including: Operations, Maintenance, Best Industry Practices, Implementing New Regulations, and Emerging Technologies.
2011 Goals
- Plan and hold 1 – 2 seminars with at least 1 focused on meeting the needs of operator level personnel
- Work with the Education Committee to develop training topics.
- Promote interest in the Top Ops competition.
- Coordinate with the Annual Conference Committee to select water treatment presentations for the annual conference.
2011 Activities Plan
- Hold 5 committee meetings, two in person and three phone conferences.
- Hold a treatment seminar.
- Submit an article for each issue of the WWA section newsletter.
- Work with the annual conference committee to fill the treatment track with timely and exciting topics.
- Make sure the Top Ops competition is discussed at any seminars.
