Mission Statement

To develop relevant training and seminars for the certified water treatment operators in Wisconsin on topics including: Operations, Maintenance, Best Industry Practices, Implementing New Regulations, and Emerging Technologies. 2007 GOALS   Plan and hold 1 – 2 seminars with at least 1 focused on meeting the needs of operator level personnel   Work with the Education Committee to develop training topics.   Promote interest in the Top Ops competition.   Coordinate with the Annual Conference Committee to select water treatment presentations for the annual conference.   Activities Plan   Hold 5 committee meetings, two in person and 3 phone conferences.   Hold a treatment seminar in April 2007 in the Milwaukee or Madison area.   Submit an article for each issue of the WWA section newsletter.   Meet in the summer of 2007 to begin looking at treatment presentations that have been submitted for the annual conference.   Assess the need for a surface water specific seminar during the summer of 2007.   Make sure the Top Ops competition is discussed at any seminars.   CALENDAR   Date Activity 9-21-06 Annual Meeting – Turn over Chair 11-6-06 Conference call – seminar planning 12-7-06 Conference call – seminar planning February 2007 Committee meeting April 2007 Operators Seminar May 2007 Committee Meeting – Annual Conference topics July 2007 Conference call – Annual Conference topics
