If I am understanding this correctly, wells/points in a water district boundary need to be inspected by a licensed possessional (well driller/pump installer) every ten years or if they are new. I was wondering if local dept. are getting a employee certified to do the inspection or simply letting it up to the property owner to hire a third party for the inspection?

What is your utility doing?
Thanks in advance. Mike

 Thanks Nancy.

Utilities in our area seem to be doing the same.

Private well inspections

Mike-We contact the private well owner and tell them to hire a licensed well driller and have them provide us the results from two bacteriological tests. We do charge a fee for the administration of this program.
