Management

Mission Statement 

The Management Committee endeavors to provide information, education and networking opportunities for persons in the Wisconsin Water Industry who have interests in water utility management issues.  The Committee provides networking opportunities through committee meetings, telephone conferences, and education activities.  Information and education opportunities are provided using seminars and other WWA communication avenues.

2009 Goals 

1. Provide an outstanding educational opportunity for the Wisconsin Water Association members at the annual conference by developing an exceptional session of topics geared towards current management trends and issues.  
2. Continue our working relationship with the Wisconsin Section of Central States Water Environment Association and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in sponsoring an educational seminar to strengthen our participant’s management and leadership skills. 
3. Continue to share information and ideas by networking with members of the WWA Management Committee members. 

Activities Plan

1. Hold at least five committee meetings, including “in-person” meetings and telephone conferences.
2. Hold “in-person” committee meetings at a central location for convenience of committee members.  Provide time to share management systems experiences as part of the meetings.
3. Work with Central States Association (CSWEA) to jointly host an annual Management Conference.
4. Sponsor a management education session in conjunction with the WWA annual conference.
5. Prepare at least one article for the WWA section newsletter.
