2010 Treatment Operations Seminar

This seminar is intended to share emergency planning and emergency response concepts, ideas, and lessons learned. Typical water utility emergencies include main breaks, chemical spills/releases, intake freezing, large-scale fire flow demand, and power outages. Several presentations and a roundtable discussion of utility emergency planning and response are included. In addition, WWA will be holding a Top Ops competition in the afternoon for all interested utility operators. The winning team will be sent to ACE10 in Chicago to compete in the national competition.
